PULSE Update - October 2024

NEW FEATURE Add Event in Bulk is now available!

Use the new DairyComp/MyDC > Animals > Add Event in Bulk option to quickly add an event to multiple animals and adjust details on the fly! The page is designed for keyboard-only activity to speed up your data entry tasks and limit the number of mouse clicks needed. As you add animals to the event, details from the last animal are copied to the next line to make entry even faster. And, PULSE saves any draft entries if you accidentally navigate away from the page to help avoid data loss!

ENHANCEMENT Export data for your creamery integrations! PULSE now offers the option to export your creamery quality and bacteria data to a CSV file for further analysis or other uses. View Dashboards to access your creamery widgets and use the new export button to save your data. It's that easy!

NEW FEATURE MyDC ONLY Task Lists are now available! MyDC dairies can now see and manage all daily animal activities on one convenient list! Use Task Lists to consolidate all required animal activities for the current day, including all OvSynch protocols, vet checks, or any other scheduled tasks. Use Task Builder to generate a custom task list, or choose one of your saved lists from the Task Lists Gallery. Use Process Open Tasks to review, then complete the open tasks on your list. Then use the Task Lists History page to view completed tasks and ensure that all tasks followed protocol.

ENHANCEMENT MyDC ONLY New Event Entry for Tasks feature! MyDC dairies can now quickly add an event after completing a task! When you process the task, choose Add Event and Complete, and PULSE prompts you to select an event from the drop-down list and add details! Click Save Event and Complete Task to move the task to the Done Tasks page in your Open Tasks list.

MyDC customers spoke and VAS listened! Making sure newborn calves receive a high-quality colostrumClosed Colostrum, the first milk produced by a cow after birth, is high in nutrients and antibodies that provide calves initial protection against disease. or replacerClosed Colostrum replacer is a natural or synthetic product that provides nutrients and antibodies to calves when maternal colostrum is unavailable or of poor quality. It's often used when calves don't nurse from their mother within a few hours of birth. is one of the most critical activities that support the long-term health and well-being of your herd. Bug Fixes

  • Zoetis import failure. We resolved an issue with Zoetis submissions showing as successful when they actually failed.
  • Nedap CowCard widget error. We addressed an unexpected error with Nedap Heat Detection and Health and Management CowCard widgets.
  • Add Event in Bulk BNAMEClosed Barn name seach fix. BNAME search now works as expected for this new feature.
  • MyDC ONLY Last Preg/Open date fix. PODATClosed Pregnant/open date now updates correctly for PREGClosed Pregnant events for MyDC dairies.
