Pen Changes

Click the Pen Changes tab on the CowCard for a detailed view of an animal's pen changes, organized by lactation cycle.

See the topics below to learn more:

  1. Details for the current lactation cycle. The section for the current cycle is expanded by default.
  2. Date: The day when an event triggered a pen change for this animal.
  3. Moved to Pen: The animal's new pen.
  4. A visual bar reference for the amount of time the animal was in each pen (blue) over the course of the lactation (gray). The blue portion of the bar helps you see how long the animal was in each pen during the lactation.
  5. Days in Pen: The number of days the animal spent in the pen.
  6. Premise IDClosed Identifier: Pen identifier related to each PULSE ZoneClosed The term "Zone" represents different dairy locations. PULSE Zones may be different physical dairy locations (for example, multiple locations across the state or country) or different user-defined locations within a single dairy site (for example, Pens 1-100 are Zone 1, Pens 101-200 are Zone 2, etc.). of the dairy.
  7. Source: The event that triggered the pen change.
  8. DIMClosed Days in milkThe number of days the animal was in milk until the source triggered the pen change.
  9. Responsible: The dairy worker responsible for the event that triggered the pen change.
  10. You can expand any other lactation section to see previous pen change details. Multiple sections can be opened at the same time.
